The Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Foundation supports top international projects

As a supporter of the Rosendal Chamber Music Festival, the Kristian Gerhard Jebsen Foundation wants to help realize the vision of establishing the festival amongst the foremost in Europe.

The foundation had the pleasure of supporting Leif Ove Andsnes’ critically acclaimed Beethoven Journey in the years 2012-2015, and greatly appreciates the opportunity for continued collaboration through the chamber music festival.

The foundation’s biggest investment is medical research. Through the creation of a number of K.G. Jebsen Centers for Medical Research at Norwegian universities and hospitals, the foundation contributes to building strong Norwegian medical research environments in top international centers.

High international ambitions also characterize the chamber music festival, where outstanding Norwegian musicians have the opportunity to play with internationally established and interesting performers. Baroniet Rosendal is a perfect setting for such musical meetings.
