Biography

In the current season Christophe Poncet de Solages sang the parts of the Lover in Menotti’s
Amelia goes to the ball for Opera de Toulon, Ajax I in Offenbach’s La Belle Hélène for Opera
National de Lorraine and Lukash in Tchaikovsky’s The Enchantress for Opera de Lyon in the new
production of Andriy Zholdak conducted by Daniele Rustioni.

Previously Christophe participated to the opening of the Grange festival in Carmen with the part
of Remendado. And he sang the tnor part of Rossini’s Petite messe solennelle with Le Choeur de
Chambre de Versailles and the role of Orphée in Offenbach’s Orphée aux Enfers . At the
Philharmonie de Paris with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France under the baton of
Mikko Franck Christophe sang ein junger Diener in Elektra by Richard Strauss
As a regular guest soloist with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France, he had the
opportunity to sing Bach’s Weihnachts-Oratorium and the role of Ein junger Hirt in Wagner’s
Tristan und Isolde at Salle Pleyel in Paris.
He has also appeared as Bert II in Zoran Juranic’s opera Posljednji ljetni cvijet and Oedipus in
Stravinsky’s Oedipus Rex during the 2013 Armel Opera Festival in Szeged, Hungary.
His vast repertoire comprises works by Britten, Stravinsky, Mussorgsky, Janáček. He has
performed Chevalier de la Force in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites , Mozart’s Tamino and
Belmonte, Monteverdi’s and Haydn’s Orfeo, as well as Pâris in Offenbach’s La belle Hélène ,
Simpleton in Mussorgsky’s Boris Godunov, Offenbach’s Hoffmann , and has recorded in French
the part of Alfredo in La Traviata.
