Arnhild Litreré

Biography

Arnhild Litleré was born and raised in Strandebarm. She graduated from the Norwegian National Academy of Theatre in 1985 and has since worked as a freelance actress with a broad repertoire. In 1993, she pursued further education at the Oslo Film and TV Academy.

She has worked at the National Stage in Bergen, the Norwegian Theatre in Oslo, Agder Theatre in Kristiansand, Ibsen Theatre in Skien, NRK, and many other theatres in Norway. She has also had several roles, including in NRK’s Radio Theatre and NRK’s comedy series Side om side.

Litleré also writes poetry and short stories and has narrated several audiobooks.

She was the initiator of Fossedagane in Strandebarm, a cultural festival based on the works of fellow villager Jon Fosse. Fossedagane was first held in 2009, and Litleré has been among the organizers every year since.
